Puisi, Malay Poems
The Malay culture is defined in its people's roots, mannerism, food and beautiful language. On the overall, the majority of people in Asia are well known for their cultural richness in many aspects of life. A huge one is in the Malay language. Puisi, or Malay poetry is an example of this wealth in language, that can be found in Malaysia and because their roots are from Indonesia, it is still practiced in these lands as a form of writing with expression. Puisi is actually a form that is within the family of 3 other well known expressive writing forms, which are know as pantun, sajak and syair. They spread out into shorter poems called gurindam. All these are based on an adverse and a sound knowledge in the Malay vocabulary and world of Malay Literature, also known as "Sastera". The words are spun around a system that are build in paragraphs that consists of four or six lines. In each line there is also a system where the point focuses on the end phrase, usually a vow
